Regarding A P J Abdul Kalam Vigyaan Kendra in DIET Bilaspur

Your kind attention is drawn towards the subject cited above. In this regard it is to say that to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment, and to raise a place where individual/s can visit and enjoy while exploring new ideas, a Science centre ‘A P J Abdul Kalam Vigyaan Kendra’ has been opened in DIET campus at Jukhala with Science lab and park.
The centre activities went begun in Feb., 2017, where some of the Govt. school’s student visited centre and hand on activities was performed with pre service trainees. Some of the activities being carried out in centre are: community library in six villages, camps of different concepts viz; solar models, shapes, human body etc in community, selected school’s students and pre service trainees, District wide plantation campaign, wall magazine and visits by schools heads/teachers/ school students.
It’s a place where students can enjoy while learning, so it’s just to let you know that students particularly 6th to 8th class and alternatively of other class also of your school can come and enjoy the concept which is a beginning of its kind in the district and state. Hand on activities will also be performed with visitor students so that they can experience something new. However, it’s requested you to let us know before you plan a visit to centre. A group of 30 students can be accommodated effectively at a time.
